HSC R&D Northern Ireland Doctoral Fellowship

Staff employed by HSC Northern Ireland, eligible NI health/social-care providers, independent contractors such as GPs, or recognised training agencies. No doctor-grade cap stated.

Cannot already have started formal PhD research training. QUB/Ulster can host the degree but are not eligible employing organisations for the fellowship.

Maximum whole award £275,000. Includes salary + tuition fees. Research/training expenses max £27,000 (plus specified PPI support). Promotional salary increases during fellowship are not funded.
